Do you need help changing the batteries in your home’s smoke alarms? Call 614-652-3920 Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Provide your name, phone number, and Washington Township/Dublin address. We will alert our on-duty first responders of your request. 

Smoke detector batteries should be replaced every 6 months. Replace smoke alarms that are 10 or more years old. Most smoke alarms manufactured today have a 10-year, sealed battery so battery replacement will occur when the unit is replaced.
