Washington Township and City of Dublin Community Members:
The Washington Township Board of Trustees has placed a renewal of the Fire Department’s 8.25 mill levy on the May 6, 2025 ballot. Originally passed in 2010, the levy will collect approximately $18.35 million annually to support fire/EMS operations in the community. Washington Township (Dublin, Ohio) currently has the lowest fire levy tax rate in Franklin County.
The Board of Trustees continue to plan for new housing and population growth in the Dublin community, serving a population of over 50,000 residents. The Board has also invested more than $4.4 million over the last four years replacing fire engines, medics and other life-saving emergency medical equipment. The Township has responsibly managed the fire department’s current fire operating levy for 15 years and is seeking a renewal of this primary operating levy on May 6, 2025.
