Two new faces in the Fire Prevention Bureau

Two of the three positions vacated by recent retirements (Fire Inspectors Bob Westbrook, Bernie Cattrell, and Steve Skeldon) in the Fire Prevention Bureau, have been filled.

Mike Altomare is our Deputy Fire Marshal. He most recently worked for Prairie Township Fire Department, where he has served since 1992 as a Firefighter/Paramedic and Assistant Fire Marshal.

Chad Hamilton is our new Fire Inspector. Chad has been an integral part of the development and implementation of  the Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District in Greenfield, Ohio. Inspector Hamilton is a 19-year veteran of the Fire Service, during which time he has been a firefighter/medic, EMS Coordinator, and Assistant Fire Chief.

Their first day at the Township will be December 21.

The Township’s Fire Prevention Bureau is responsible for conducting fire inspections of commercial buildings in the City of Dublin and unincorporated Township and conducting group fire safety education programs, including fire extinguisher training.
