Washington Township Trustees announced March 27th that Township Administrator Sara Ott has resigned.
Ott, who has been with the Township since April 28, 2014, is leaving to serve as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Aspen in Colorado. Ott’s last day will be April 21, 2017.
“It’s been a very rewarding three years for me at the Township, Ott said. “Working with the women and men who deliver the EMS and fire services for Township and Dublin residents has certainly increased my appreciation for the complex business of delivering emergency services, especially in a rapidly growing community like Dublin. I share the staff’s pride in the work we have done and our steadfast commitment to service excellence while maintaining financial sustainability.”
Township Trustee Denise King said, “The township appreciates Sara Ott’s professionalism and diligence in carrying out the strategic plan during her three years as Township Administrator. She is a strong leader and an advocate for her staff. It is a compliment to the high standards of Washington Township and the City of Dublin where she also served, that she was selected for the Assistant City Manager position in Aspen, Colorado. We wish her the very best.”
A farewell reception for Ms. Ott will be held at the Township Administration Building on April 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. Community members are welcome to attend.
