By monitoring traps throughout the Township, the Franklin County Public Health Dept. (FCPHD) has determined that mosquito populations are higher than average in certain regions of the Township. In addition, one trap tested positive for West Nile Virus. For these reasons, FCPHD will be spraying in these areas tomorrow, Sept. 1, beginning around 8:45 p.m. (weather permitting). Closing windows until 30 minutes after the truck has passed is recommended. See a map of the areas where spraying will occur.
