As Dublin grows, it may be necessary, sometime in the future, to add a fifth fire station. A station will be built only when the fire department can no longer maintain its goal for emergency response time (under 8 minutes 90% of the time), which could occur in about five years. To prepare for this, the Township purchased two land parcels totaling 3.58 acres at the corner of McKitrick Drive and Jerome Road. The Township will post signs on this property to inform current and future residents of the land’s owner, contact information, and anticipated use.
