Lt. Mike Harlor (left) and firefighter Charles Cattrell (right) presented Pete McKenzie from Honor Flight Columbus a check for $10,500, proceeds from a flower sale they organized at fire stations 92 and 93 in May. The donation will support expenses for 20 veterans to fly to Washington DC to visit their respective war memorials and Arlington National Cemetery to witness the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Honor Flight Columbus arranges for flights and volunteer escorts so veterans do not incur any cost. http://www.honorflightcolumbus.org
